Cushioning carrier roller is used to mitigate the impact of falling materials at material processing section on conveyer belt. It is developed for erosive environment in coaling washery, coking plant, chemical plants. Its toughness is more than 10 times that of ordinary metal, life expectancy 5 times that of traditional column shoes. Its characteristics such as erosion proof and being flame-retarded, anti-static electricity, light weight make it widely used in mining. High polymer material used in the body of carrier roller is similar to bronze in mechanical performance and has very good self lubricating function with no damage to belt. Cushioning carrier roller has great anti-erosion performance. The body and sealing parts are made of high polymer material, which is corrosion resistant. Used in erosive situations, its service life is up to 5 times that of ordinary carrier roller.
Cushioning carrier roller is light in weight and little in inertia of rotating. Special purpose high polymer material is light in weight, with its specific gravity 1/7 that of steel. Carrier roller made of this material is about a half of ordinary carrier roller, with little inertia and small amounts of friction between carrier roller and leather belt.
